    How to Search for Books
  • You may search for books and resources on the SNU Library website: https://library.snu.ac.kr.
  • First, search for a composer or author, then filter by Sheet Music, Book, etc. and select the Music library.
  • It is highly recommended to search for both the original language title and the English title. If you are looking for sheet music, focus on items with a billing symbol “M” or the accession number “7033-”. While some materials are labeled as “book” or “album,” it is most effective to locate them using billing and accession numbers.
  • The sheet music is organized into ""Sheet Music Book 1"" and ""Sheet Music Book 2"". The books are arranged on the bookshelves.
  • Please note that commas and periods are not considered equivalent in billing notation.
    Instruction on Using Multimedia Resources
  • Similar to searching for books, you can search on the SNU Central Library website. You can then fill out the 'Application for Borrowing Music Records' form, which is available at the checkout desk. After filling out the form, submit it to a staff member along with your ID.
  • CDs and DVDs may be borrowed in-house for listening purposes. Only the following lists of people may borrow the CDs and DVDs and take it outside the campus for research purpose: professors, professor emeriti, adjunct faculty, graduate students, research students, staff, and teaching assistants for classroom.
