A. 지원자격 (동시 충족) / Eligibility (Must Meet All Criteria)
- 서울대학교 학사·석사·박사과정 신입생 혹은 학사·석사·박사과정 재학 중인 외국인 유학생
- DAC List of ODA Recipients에 해당하는 개발도상국 출신 학생(붙임 목록 참조, 교포는 선발에서 제외)
- 외국 국적 소유자
- 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 점수 2급 이상 소유자
※ 학사과정생인경우 등록금 면제성 타 장학금 수혜 불가
※ 정부초청 장학생 지원 불가

- Incoming or currently enrolled international students in bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs at Seoul National University.
- Students from developing countries listed the DAC List of ODA Recipients (refer to the attached list; expatriates are excluded).
- Holders of foreign nationality.
- Holders of a TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) score of Level 2 or higher.
※ Undergraduate students cannot receive other tuition-exempting scholarships.
※Government-sponsored scholarship recipients are ineligible.

B. 지원내용 / Scholarship Benefits
- 학부생: 등록금 전액면제, 생활비 월 65만원 지급
- 대학원생: 한 학기 최대 500만원의 장학금 지급 (장학 수혜상황에 따라 차등 지급)

- Undergraduate students: Full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend of 650,000 KRW.
- Graduate students: Scholarships of up to 5,000,000 KRW per semester (amount may vary depending other scholarships received).
 

C. 장학금 수혜 기간 / Scholarship Duration
- 학사과정: 최대 8학기
- 석사과정: 최대 4학기
- 박사과정: 최대 6학기
- 석박통합과정: 최대 8학기(졸업까지 남은 학기동안 수혜)
※ 매 학기말 성적 심사를 통해 수혜 지속여부 결정
※ 연 1회 재단이 요구하는 한국어능력시험 점수 제출 필요 (상세내용은 붙임 문서 참조)
 
Undergraduate: Up to 8 semesters.
Master’s: Up to 4 semesters.
Doctoral: Up to 6 semesters.
Integrated Master’s and Doctoral: Up to 8 semesters (limited to remaining semesters until graduation).
※ Continuation of the scholarship is subject to academic performance review each semester.
※ Submission of a TOPIK scorece a year as required by the foundation (see attached document for details).
 

D. 선발인원 / Number of Recipients
최대 2명(서울대학교 전체)
Up to 2 students (from the entire Seoul National University).
 

E. 지원방법 / Application Process
지원 학생이 제출 서류 원본을 음악대학 행정실 장학담당 앞으로 제출
제출기한: 2024.7.15.(월) 17:30 PM
 
Applicants must submit original documents to the scholarship officer at the College of Music administration office.
Submission Deadline: July 15, 2024, by 17:30 AM.


F. 제출서류 (영문 혹은 국문 중 선택) / Required Documents (Choose either Korean or English)
1. 글로벌 희망장학 지원신청서, 자기소개서 및 학업계획서 (붙임 양식에 작성)
2. 추천서 및 추천자 개인정보처리에 관한 동의서(붙임 양식)
3. 개인정보처리에 관한 동의서(붙임 양식)
4. 외국인등록증 사본 (신입생의 경우 여권사본)
5. 재학증명서 (신입생의 경우 입학허가서)
6. 성적증명서 각 1부 (대학원 과정은 학부 성적부터 재학중인 과정의 성적까지 모두 제출)
7. 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 성적표 2급 이상(유효기간 이내 성적표)
8. 장학금 수혜증명서 (신입생 제외)
9. (해당자에 한함) 연구실적 관련자료, 학업 외 활동 관련 자료, 부모의 경제상황 증빙자료
※ 양식에 포함된 글로벌 희망장학 지원서 자가점검표 제출 전에 작성 및 확인 필수

1. Global Hope Scholarship Application Form, Self-Introduction, and Study Plan (use attached forms).
2. Recommendation Letter and Consent Form for the Processing of Recommender’s Personal Information (use attached forms).
3. Consent Form for the Processing of Personal Information (use attached form).
4. Copy of Alien Registration Card (for new students, a copy of the passport).
5. Certificate of Enrollment (for new students, admission letter).
6. Transcripts (submit transcripts from undergraduate and all current graduate studies).
7. TOPIK Score Certificate of Level 2 or higher (within the validity period).
8. Scholarship Receipt Certificate (excluding new students).
9. (If applicable) Research achievements, extra-curricular activity materials, and proof of parents’ financial status.
※ The Global Hope Scholarship Application Checklist included in the form must be completed and verified in advance.
