장학

가. 지원자격 (Eligibility)
본교 외국인 대학원 학위과정생(재학생 및 2024학년도 2학기 입학예정자)
Foreign graduate students enrolled at Seoul National University (current students and those scheduled to enroll in the second semester of 2024).
※ 1개 학기 이상의 잔여 학기가 남아있는 학생만 신청 가능(수료생 수혜 불가)
※ Only students with at leaste semester remaining are eligible to apply (graduates are not eligible).


나. 유형별 지원내용 및 수혜기간 (Scholarship Types and Benefits)
- Global Scholarship Ⅰ: 등록금, 생활비 월 120만원, 항공료 (음악대학은 GSI Ⅰ유형 배정 인원이 없어 미선발함)
- Global Scholarship Ⅰ: Covers tuition, a monthly stipend of KRW 1,200,000, and airfare
(Note: the College of Music does not have allocated slots for this type, thus no selection will be made).

- Global Scholarship Ⅱ: 등록금
- Global Scholarship Ⅱ: Covers tuition.

- 한국어연수: 언어교육원 한국어과정(특별과정 저녁반) 수업료(2024 가을 또는 2024 겨울, 택1)
- Korean Language Training: Covers tuition for the Korean Language Course (Special Program Evening Class) at the Language Education Institute (Fall 2024 or Winter 2024,e termly).

- 수혜기간: 2024. 9월 ~ 2025. 2월(6개월), 1개 학기
- Scholarship Period: September 2024 – February 2025 (6 months),e semester.

다. 신청기간 (Application Period)
2024. 6. 28.(금) 10시 ~ 7. 7.(일) 23시, 서울대학교 포털 마이스누(my.snu.ac.kr)에서 온라인 신청
※ 신입생들의 경우 신청을 위해서는 마이스누 계정 신규생성 필수 (붙임 영문 안내문 참조하여 안내 요망)

From 10:00 AM June 28, 2024 (Friday) to 11:00 PM July 7, 2024 (Sunday).
Applications must be submittedline via the Seoul National University portal (my.snu.ac.kr).
※ freshmans(new student) must create a MySNU account to apply (please refer to the attached English guide).


라. 합격 발표 (Announcement of Results (Individual notification via email by the Office of International Affairs))
- 신입생: 2024년 7월 24일(수) 18시
- 재학생: 2024년 8월 2일(금) 18시
(개별 이메일 안내, 국제협력본부) 

- freshman(new student) : 6:00 PM July 24, 2024 (Wednesday).
- Current Students: 6:00 PM August 2, 2024 (Friday).

마. 유의사항 (Important Notes)
- 해당 프로그램 장학 수혜기간이 1개 학기(6개월)임을 유의
- GS 장학금은 반드시 1개 학기 이상의 잔여 학기가 남아있는 학생의 경우에만 수혜 가능함(한국어연수 유형도 수료학생은 수혜 불가)
- 2024년 9월부로 수료자가 되는 학생은 선발 불가함

- The scholarship duration ise semester (6 months).
- GS scholarships arely available to students with at leaste semester remaining (graduates are not eligible, including for the Korean Language Training type).
- Students who will graduate in September 2024 are not eligible for selection.


바. 참고사항 (Additional Information)
- 실제 장학생 선발 후 발생하는 예산잔액과 기타 제반사항(장학 포기자 발생 등)을 점검 후 2024년 10월 ~ 11월 중 2024년 2학기 GS장학생(GS2)추가 선발 진행 예정
- After the initial selection, any remaining budget and other factors (such as scholarship forfeitures) will be reviewed,
and an additional selection for GS2 scholars for the second semester of 2024 is planned for October to November 2024.
