| The Asian Music Research Institute has three main objectives in studying Korean and Asian music. First and foremost, the Institute is committed to the systematic
development of Korean and Asian music into a full-fledged discipline. Second, it aims to collect, organize, preserve, and distribute information and materials on Korean, Asian, and non-European music. Last, but not least, it strives to increase mutual cooperation among relevant institutes and academic organizations both at home and abroad and expand exchange of information, materials, and knowledge. |
