She has been an active haegeum player. She held the position of Concert Master of National Gugak Center Korea court orchestra and issued three albums on Korean traditional music; <Yeominrak>, <Yeongsanhoesang>, <Chwita, Kwanak-Yeongsanhoesang>. Now she is the head of haegeum musician's Association in Korea.
She has written the books for haegeum performance, which are called <Hae-geum Sanjo>, <Gajeunhoisang>, <Man-Nyun Jang Hwan Jigok> and completed the Ph.D thesis, 『Study on Jong-myo jeryak: focused on music scores and recorded materials』.
